| September 11 | 4th Annual Pickle Fest Saturday, September 12, 2009 Location: Centennial Park, Under the Water Tower
The Smiths Falls Lions Club is sponsoring its Pickle Festival in Smiths Falls. The event is located at the watertower in Centennial Park beside the Rideau Canal. Activities and events will include pickle sales, pickle demonstrations and sampling as well as a farmers market, wine tasting and entertainers. Food will be available during the day and a sidewalk sale will be held downtown. |

Spirited Evening Cemetery Tour will be offered Saturday evening starting at 7:00 p.m. Heritage House Museum will kick off the haunting season with a spirited tour through Hillcrest Cemetery by candle light as you hear stories and learn more about our town’s rich past.
